Just when I got so used to the great Kodak Zi8 1080p small video camera, Kodak brought the latest and greatest Kodak PlayTouch 1080p camcorder. It’s essentially the old good Zi8 with intuitive touch screen interface and some options of video editing on the go: Kodak PlayTouch features on-camera editing capability, so you can fine-tune your footage, cut out what you don’t want, or extract still images from video. And of course you still have the external microphone input, digital image stabilization, and of course option to set the camera on tripod.
Anothe interesting feature is LCD Glare Shield. LCD Glare Shield feature gives you two filters to choose from that help you see your subject on the display screen in reflective outdoor situations. These filters are only applied to your display screen, not your footage, so everything you record will look as great as the moment you shot it
